The expressway starts from Ahmedabad Sardar Patel Ring Road and further connects all the other interchanges.

With almost 80% of construction completed, it will be fully operational by 2025. The estimated cost of this construction is 4373 crores. By traveling from this expressway, one can reach Dholera from Ahmedabad within 40 to 45 minutes.

Starting from Ahmedabad, the construction of the Diamond Interchange is almost complete. People are already using one side of the interchange while the other remains closed. 5 kilometers of the expressway’s work is nearly completed, and as we move toward Dholera from Ahmedabad, the first layer of the blacktopping is done. As we look at the expressway right now, it is an 8-lane highway with a 4-lane on each side. But for the bigger picture, there is a space on each side for the future expansion of the 12-lane highway. With that, there will be plants in the middle of both sides. After the initial 5 kilometers, there will be the railway bridge, which is now under construction. Ramps on both sides of the bridge are completed, and the steel pillars are also constructed. This section will span approximately 700 meters.

After you cross these junctions, there will be another junction of Pipli that connects the expressway to Dholera International Airport and Dholera Smart City. The Pipli junction’s work is in progress. The sign boards are already applied there and suggest the speed limit, people are under CCTV surveillance, and everything. This will ensure people’s safety as well as help them stay cautious. For cars, there is a speed limit of 120 km/h, and for transportation vehicles, there is a speed limit of 80 km/h. This shows the government’s awareness of the safety of citizens.

After that, there is Ambli Interchange, in which street lights and crash bars are installed, and plating will start soon. This 109-kilometer expressway ends at the Andhelai interchange for travelers from Ahmedabad and becomes a starting point for Bhavnagar. This one is almost ready, and people are using it.
